plastic stool to stand on

STARBOARD MATERIAL...

Its cheaper Reef safe super strong and bonds the same as acrylic....

This is what i would use... you can get it in different thickness from almost any plastic place .

From what I've seen, it's alot heavier than the PVC boards or panels.

I thought you said weight wad an issue because "The reef is on a false glass floor that won't take my weight."?

It is. I have cut outs in the false floor that these "stools" would sit into. They would sit on the true floor of the tank... which is currently a 3/4" glass sheet sitting on a 3/4" acrylic sheet sitting on 3/4" plywood sheet sitting on 2x4s...

I might also put a layer of rubber sheet between the plywood and acrylic.
The intent of using an acrylic sheet is to have a very flat but more compliant layer under the glass floor

That's off-topic here but the whole point is to be able to walk into the tank safely. I'd assumed that the real floor was solid enough, but better to ask.

Then, if it is, I need a raised stool to stand on to do work mid-tank.
