playin' with my rocks

I picked up the live rock from the group buy last night and was looking it over today. The outside of the box had a web page:

The page had tons of info on rock, live sand and the areas where it is collected and lots of articles by Bob Fenner. Also lots of articles on corals and fish.

The rock on the other hand is awesome. It is very porous and light and great shapes. I think maybe I shoulda bought more-- gotta find a tank. Anyway, played with the camera. Imagine the neighbors, guy taking pictures of a box of rocks in his driveway :dance:--------

I picked up a box last night and put them in a tub with a heater a couple of powerheads and a light. Just wondering if anything might survive... I am no rock expert, but nice looking rock. Also kinda cool, was the "stuff" in with the rocks. I had a shrimp, I am talking about the kind you eat, he was not alive but I did find other "things" moving. A couple of worms like things..... lots of plant stuff, curious to see what survives

realistic.... it's about price at this point, until business comes back up or my wife wins the lottery or somebody wants me to baby sit a huge tank while they go away.... wait I was day dreaming
