2- Yellow Watchman Goby (Cryptocentrus cinctus)
1- Tiger Snapping Shrimp (Alpheus bellulus)

1- Multicolor Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus lubbocki)

and several snails. Will this be okay?:fish1:

1- Dwarf Coral Beauty Angel (Centropyge bispinosa) this is pushing it for this fish in this sized tank; plan on having nori available every day

The sailfin might feel cramped eventually and start pacing the front. Otherwise, fine. I LOVE jawfish.

Missed this - need to move my post?

Missed this - need to move my post?

I just started a thread in "new to the hobby" regarding a new fish purchase. Didn't see this one. Can/should I move it or do you guys check those too?

This one is only answered by Reef Central Staff, in this case me. Always welcome to post here as well.

Hello,
I have a 72 corner running 8 months with:
Lemon peel angel
Coral beauty angel
Flame angel
Pigmy cherub angel
False percula x2
Indian sailfin tang
Purple firefish
Firefish
Yellowhead sleeper goby
Purple dottyback
Blue green chromis x5
Hatian anemone
Emerald crabs
Zebra snails
Turbo snails
Mexican turbo snails
Camel shrimp
Banded coral shrimp
Indian starfish

After unsuccessfully trying to ad a flameback angel (the lemon peel nearly killed it) I traded it for the sailfin tang without incident.
I would like to add a rusty angel that is the same size or slightly larger than the lemon peel but I don't think it is worth trying.
I'm thinking about a chevron tang or a blue tang and a couple of Bartlet's anthias.
I will be upgrading my lighting and sump soon and eventually trying a few polyps.
Thank you

My proposed lineup
2 x Clowns
powder blue Tang
Yellow Head Jawfish
5 x Blue reef Chromis
One Spot Foxface
Flame Angelfish
Pyramid butterfly

Going to be running the Red Sea max s 600 all in one system. A 175 gal 5ft 3 tank.
Also want coral down the line. Only dead set one thus far is an open Brain Probably some torch, frogspawn, mushroom ,leather and pineapple sometime too.

- 55 Gallon 48" x 12" x 20"
- 50-60lb's of purple coralline reef rock.
- 3-4 inch Sand Bed
- Reef Octopus in sump Skimmer. (20 gallon Sump)
- Lots of crevices and a few caves, couple shelfs. Generally eye appealing with lots of hiding spaces basically.

My goal is a diversity of colorful fish, peaceful, moderately easy care FOWLR. Later on I might add a few soft corals but that will be much later after the tank matures.

FISH:
2x Clownfish (Percula or Occelaris)
3x Blue Chromis (Will become one)
1x Yellow Watchman Goby
2x Banggai Cardinal Fish
1x Firefish (Nemateleotris Mb agnifica)
1x Yellow Midas Blenny

INVERTS
1x Rose Bubbletip Anemone (introduced with Clowns later after mature tank.)
10x Reef Safe Hermits (Blue Leg, Scarlet Red) (W/ extra shells)
10x Nassarius Snails
10x Cerith Snails
2x Boxing/Pom Pom Crabs
1x Coral Banded Shrimp
1x Candy Stripe Pistol Shrimp (To go with Watchman)
1x Red Sea Star (Fromia milleporella)

Soft Corals down the line, maybe frogspawn or something but no heavy coral load.

sorry, you are way overstocked at the moment. I cannot in good conscience advocate any additions.

My proposed lineup
2 x Clowns
powder blue Tang
Yellow Head Jawfish
5 x Blue reef Chromis will become one over time; also chromis are highly susceptible to uronema so great quarantine protocol must be in place
One Spot Foxface
Flame Angelfish
Pyramid butterfly

except as noted, your fish list should be fine; note that dwarf angels are not reef safe

FISH:
2x Clownfish (Percula or Occelaris)
3x Blue Chromis (Will become one)
1x Yellow Watchman Goby
2x Banggai Cardinal Fish two must be male plus female and should be tank raised
1x Firefish (Nemateleotris Mb agnifica)
1x Yellow Midas Blenny

as you note, 3 chromis will become one over time so why buy three?

INVERTS
1x Rose Bubbletip Anemone (introduced with Clowns later after mature tank.)
10x Reef Safe Hermits (Blue Leg, Scarlet Red) (W/ extra shells)
10x Nassarius Snails
10x Cerith Snails hermits or snails but not both as hermits kill snails for their shells
2x Boxing/Pom Pom Crabs
1x Coral Banded Shrimp can take fish
1x Candy Stripe Pistol Shrimp (To go with Watchman)
1x Red Sea Star (Fromia milleporella) will starve

Soft Corals down the line, maybe frogspawn or something but no heavy coral load.

I have the following in a 55 gallon tank: Blue Tang, Klein butterfly, 2 Blue Damsels, Ocelerous Clown, Hector's Goby.

I have live rock and live sand and cleanup crew.

What could be added?

Thank you.

I have read a lot of good stuff about the flame angel. it seems the key is keeping it well fed. i will be experimenting with autofeeding from tge reef nutrition line so well see how he works out

Right now the water is good, everyone's happy and the tank is cleaner than it's ever been, I guess I should quit while I'm ahead.
The only fish I've lost are chromis, from reading the last few post I guess that's normal, are they killing each other?

2x Banggai Cardinal Fish (M/F, Tank Bred)

1x Yellow Midas Blenny

Can I add a McCosker's Flasher Wrasse last?

INVERTS

1x Red Sea Star (Fromia milleporella) will starve What would I have to remove to make it not starve. Gotta weigh my options here..

Side note: There is a 30 gallon connected to the same tank that houses a crusher mantis shrimp. I can "trash" any CUC I need to without much effort and it goes to a good cause... I'll be adding CUC as I need to them feed the mantis (hence the emerald crabs & snails). I would love your input on the invert CUC portion.

Soft Corals down the line, maybe frogspawn or something but no heavy coral load.

180 gallon 72"x24"x25"
Not yet set up
Reef (LPS & a few clams)
I plan on having a mixture of invertebrates

(ordered by when I plan on adding them)

Mated pair Black & White Ocellaris Clowns (will they take up too much real estate paired?)

Midas Blenny

Linespot Flasher Wrasse

McCosker's Flasher Wrasse

Yellowhead Jawfish

3 Lyretail Anthias (1 male & 2 female) (Will they compete with dragonets for Copepods?)

Orchid Dottyback (tank bred)

Green Mandarin (after 7-8 months)

Ruby Red Dragonet

Blue Tang

Powder Brown Tang (should I choose 1 tang, or can they coexist in a 6ft?)

Thanks for your time :)

Before you think about adding any fish, you would need to remove the blue tang and the damsels

well fed is always good, but since dwarf angels feed constantly, it will not keep corals safe.

Can I add a McCosker's Flasher Wrasse last? no, not really. They are very active and your tank size is on the small side; may also intimidate yor firefish

1x Red Sea Star (Fromia milleporella) will starve What would I have to remove to make it not starve. Gotta weigh my options here.. your tank is not large enough or mature enough to sustain this animal. However this thread is really only about marine fish compatibility
