Ok thank you what you add to the clowns would some nice colors

Are you talking about fish? If so, I would be happy to analyze any stocking plan you provide as long as you provide tank size again, and complete stocking plan. As those who follow this thread know, I do not provide recommendations for a variety of reasons. If you are talking corals, clownfish are reef safe except that if they associate with a coral (what most people incorrectly call "hosting") they may damage it.

Now that I'm home was looking some more about the Mandarin if the tank was a few months along and I seeded with pods well before buy it what do think ? Yes noob haha

I currently have a FOWLR 60 gal Hex. I've had this tank for about 3 years, but upgraded from a smaller tank. I've had this current mix of fish for about a year and a half and am looking to add a couple more.

Current:

2 Three Stripe Damsels
1 Blue & Gold Damsel
Purple Dottyback (porphyreus)
Snails
Coral Banded shrimp
Sea Urchin
Harlequin Star

Considering:

Yellowstripe Maroon Clownfish
Chromis (Just one)
Starry or Lawnmower Blenny
Goby
Banggai Cardinalfish

I saw where you only recommend porcelain crabs, do they leave snails alone?

Thank you for your help!

all are aggressive fish with the dottyback being extremely so.

Snails
Coral Banded shrimp
Sea Urchin
Harlequin Star

Considering: With the fish you have, I cannot predict whether you can introduce any of the following successfully. The ones most likely are the goby and Banggai Cardinal.

Yellowstripe Maroon Clownfish super aggressive
Chromis (Just one)
Starry or Lawnmower Blenny
Goby
Banggai Cardinalfish

I saw where you only recommend porcelain crabs, do they leave snails alone? they are "filter" feeders so they will leave snails alone. Hermits kill snails for their shells.

Thank you for your help!

Would a FLAMING PRAWN GOBY work or would them and most goby be out for the same reason

As I repeatedly remind folks, I need total stocking plan and tank size. I cannot begin to remember prior posts as I have done way too many of these.

Hey snorvich had some questions... I'm setting up a 190 right now,,, it's 60✖️27✖️27
Here is my fish stock list as of now,
1 purple tang
1 achilis tang
1 naso tang
1 powder blue tang. (Maybe)
One pair of Picasso clowns
5 or 6 anthias
1 royal gramma
1 Kole tang
Diamond goby
1 Lintenius wrasse
1 carpenters wrasse,
1 morish idol ( maybe if I find one that eats)

That's my list as of now, let me know what you think and also how would you recommend me adding the tangs, first or last and which ones.
Thanks a lot...

Also would this fish list be considered over stocked

Here is my fish stock list as of now,
1 purple tang I would not try 5 tangs in a 5 foot tank; three tangs would be pushing it
1 achilis tang
1 naso tang needs a much longer tank
1 powder blue tang. (Maybe)
1 Kole tang
One pair of Picasso clowns
5 or 6 anthias anthias need to be fed multiple times per day for success
1 royal gramma
Diamond goby
1 Lintenius wrasse you mean lineatus wrasse?
1 carpenters wrasse,
1 morish idol ( maybe if I find one that eats)

Also would this fish list be considered over stocked

with the number of tangs, all of whom are natural algae grazers, it would be considered over stocked

Tank size 75g + 40g sump. Filter sock + NAC 7 skimmer. Nitrate 0, PO4 0.
Current inhabitants: Kole tang, 2 small clownfish, 5 green chromis and six line wrasse.

Want to add:

1. Solorensis wrasse
2. McCoskers OR Carpenter's flasher wrasses.
3. Pair/trio/quad of Bartlett anthias or Ignitus anthias.

Want to add: a six line wrasse will preclude fairy or flasher wrasses; a group of anthias requires a larger tank because of their social interaction

Ok if I was to narrow it down to
1 achilis
1 purple
1 powder brown,
Yes I mis spelled the wrasse
In what order would you add these 3 tangs, to my research it wouldn't really matter on all,the other fish , correct?

Also do morish idols fight tangs?

Also do morish idols fight tangs? the more relevant question is will tangs act aggressively towards MI. And the answer is undetermined. I certainly would not try to add any largish fish after those three tangs. The problem with tangs in general, is that in shortish tanks (and a five foot tank is short), any established tang will not be happy with the addition of conspecifics. So, in a perfect world, if you HAD to have those three, they should be quarantined separately and then introduced together. The purple, once established can be really mean.

One last question, if I was not able to add 3 tangs at one time(I don't know my wife will let me keep 3 qt's,, I barely got one in her laundry room).
In what order would you recommend?

55 gallon with 22gallon sump

2 b&w ocellaris clown fish
1 helfrichi firefish
1 purple firefish
2 neon gobies
2 yellow head jaw fish needs rock rubble and 3-4 inches of sand substrate
1 midas blenny
1 Tanaka's pygmy wrasse

I'm still a little ways away but wanted to get some idea I have a 29 biocube was thinking of adding a Flaming prawn goby or other goby or is the problem going to be same as the mandarin and a pair of snowflake clowns. Not sure on order also going to get some small corals to fish or corals first?tank is running at around 79-80 salinity 1.026 ,nitrites 0,ammonia 0, nitrates 4-8.

tough question with those three. My guess is purple last.
