After ich strike on me all fish were removed from my 300 gal tank.
In next 4-8 weeks all SPS were dead. (luckily I did not had much as tank was only 6 month old) To my surprise most softies still look nice. Those that died were finger and kenya tree, but they never thrived.
I would blame lack of fish waste and too clean water. But wouldnt in that case softies had to suffer most ?
I did ICP water test to find possible problem , but the only parameters out of line was a little elevated aluminium at 0.0226 mg/l . Is this level fatal for sps?
Needless to say that nitrates and phosphates were nearly zero. P-0,015 N- 0,2
There are 4 shrimps , lobster and bunch of starfish in tank , that are fed daily.

All ideas are welcome
