what are in line params exactly with a number??

any swings?

hows the flow?

frogspawn could have stung it

did you acclimate to the lights?

any rb's or aefw's?

most important is what are the swings??if any?? and how is the flow there??

lots of possiblities

Calcium is at 450 & Alk is 10 dkh.

No swings that I have detected.

Although it looks close in the pick the frogspawn is a foot away.
Nothing close enough to tough even with sweepers.

It was well acclimated and has been fine for 6 weeks till last week.

No bugs that I can find and the acro 6 inches away does not show any problems.

As for Flow, 3 SEIO 820's on a wavemaker plus the return pump. Lot's of flow.

Thanks.

brissle worm attack at night .look at it with flash light 2 hours after lights out.maybe.

I look at it constantly throughout the night and see nothing bothering it. I have a 6 line and a coris that keep the bristle worms in check.

Your next comment is interesting though. Water quality is not it but could it be shading itself?? It is the underside that is going down.

IMO it looks like a form of STN how long have you run your alk up at 10dkh? How much of a swing do you get every few days? Do you replenish alk daily?

I would let the alk drop a bit and see if that helps. I almost always get weird STN when my alk climbs to 10dkh + As a matter of fact it happened recently. I was real busy for a few days and my ca reactor clogged and my co2 kept pumping as a result over 4 days my alk went from 8dkh to 10.2 dkh. I am having STN on a few pieces .

I was thinking stn as well from possible issues with alk. IMO, alk is one of the things that causes the most issues of stn for me when it has happened in the past. It is almost 100% attributed to some swing in my alk, once I get it stable the corals usually heal up or they are to far gone and succumb. Good luck with this little guy.
