I have a 90 degree elbow inside a tank shoved in to the point that I can't get it out. tank is full of water and corals
any tips or tricks
I"m afraid of cracking the glass
if I pull really hard the seams on the bulkhead come up
if I twist the silicone on the bulkhead also twists

Removing the bulkhead would be the best course of action. If that is not possible, then can you get a pair of grips on the bulkhead stem to prevent it from turning when you twist the elbow?

Why is there silicone on the bulkhead? There should not be silicone on the bulkhead. Proper tightening with the gasket on the correct side is all it takes to seal a bulkhead.

That said, you probably won't get the elbow out without tearing something up, take the bulkhead out. You may end up having to replace it. Don't use silicone when you put it back together...that is very improper installation.
