Plumbing question

I have a brs reactor on a mj200, I would like to remove this pump and tie it into my 1/2 inch pvc return line off my mag. In currently using that white tubing from the brs kit. Does any one know a source for a fitting to tie the two together ?

yup just did the same thing with mine. get a threaded T and theres lock-line or gator bite, forget the brand, but its an adapter that allows you to just slide that BRS tubing right into it and itll hold nice and tight

I got my fitting at lowes... threaded on one end (to thread into the T in my return line) and compression fitting on the other to take the BRS tube.

I'd love to see a picture. I teed mine off of my return by pushing the white tube into the clear tubing and sealing it with a clamp. It's very sloppy. Your method sounds clean.

Home depot . U want a john guest (?) fitting. They are like the gator/shark bite fittings but they are all plastic. Good for our use. They are usually by the ice maker stuff

Lowes has them in the pllumbing section, one isle from the pvc.

Male PVC compression fitting, just pick the one that fits your plumbing sizes.

dont they have metal in them? I believe i looked at them before and they had brass ferrule?

I have a fitting similar to this in my parts box but it has compression fittings on both ends. The compression sleeve in mine are rubber. IME the one displayed in the image should work well but a John Guest fitting might be better if available in the size you are looking for. I'd look for one that has a valve built into it to help regulate flow unless you already have a valve in-line.

I used a John Guest fitting with a threaded fitting on the other end. I threaded into my pvc with a female threaded adapter. Works just fine, been running(but reconfigured a few times) for about 2 years.

I got it all at Lowes/HD.
