Plumbing Question???

Humm I used these couplers on my hose fittings are they going to be ok??

if they're stainless they should last a good long time (assuming they're not actually IN the water)

if they're not stainless they will rust away within a short amount of time (a year or less in some cases)

They're easy enough to replace without pulling everything apart tho, since you can just run them out to open them up, and put new ones on
 
they're fine to use. just keep an eye on them over time. even if they are close to water the evaporation will make then slowly start to rust. if it happens where the teeth are they will fail. i've used them for years though without any problems.
 
ok Thanks i was panicing there for a second, didn't even think about it when I was putting everthing together
 
Just a note here, even if they are stainless steel, they are cheap stainless steel at best, so they will rust out (corrode.) Personally, for use around salt vapor, it would be better to use plastic clamps made for the purpose.
