they're fine to use. just keep an eye on them over time. even if they are close to water the evaporation will make then slowly start to rust. if it happens where the teeth are they will fail. i've used them for years though without any problems.
Just a note here, even if they are stainless steel, they are cheap stainless steel at best, so they will rust out (corrode.) Personally, for use around salt vapor, it would be better to use plastic clamps made for the purpose.
Very true, gold and graphite (a metal) won't either. However, if needing the titanium ones right now, well...out of luck, as they are out of stock :mixed:
