I had this happen to me the last time i used Phosban and now with PURA Phoslock.
I feed heavily, which i have cut back on for the past month or so 'a little' because of obvious elevated levels of PO4.
My 58g with the exception of my 6" crocea and a frogspawn is all sps and they are all doing exceptionally well...great growth, great deep colors and good PE.
I also have kept a strict water change schedule since day one over two years ago of 7%-10% weekly.(Reef Crystals for this tank)
I get a green film algae on glass everyday that i mag-float off.
I believe, however wrong i am that these elevated levels of PO4 contribute to my great coloration....impossible?
How can I, or do I, want to reduce PO4? Should i leave it as is?
I have read that elevated PO4 levels will absolutely stunt growth in sps but mine 'seem' to be growing quite well.
Thanks for any help!
edit: I already removed the Phoslock
