It dosent matter if you want to talk about zeovit go sign up to the zeovit website and start there it right here

reef central forums experts have already talked about the issue and disproved the claims made by zeovit. And every tank of the month before 2006 proves that you dont need it and you get the same colors
Well, at least you are backtracking a little!.
You said "It is snake oil". The suggestion from you is that their claims are fraudulent and their theory has been disproved. That is a lie!!.
You claim to get the same results without Zeo. That is false.
You paraphrase two respected chemists, not sure from where, but they have very little working knowledge of the system and in those terms are not qualified to say how well it does or doesn't work. At best, they an only Speculate, in the face of hundreds of successful and differently coloured SPS tanks.
Indeed, I believe Randy does run a carbon driven system and loves it?!..
We would all love to know the ingredients, but that's no reason to assume it doesn't work. In fact, it's a sill reason to slate the system!.
Traditional methods give you very nice, but distinctly different coral colours!.
Pellets and other methods can match the results, but those methods are asked on similar principles. Some may still argue that Zeo an give you even more subtle hues than carbon dosing alone.
Clearly, Pre zeo methodologies cant give you the same colours, yet they do give you just as impressive coral displays, if not more so.
However, as witnessed on many many threads, you can spot a zeo tank a mile off, which suggests there has to be something to it.
To write it off as snake oil is plain ignorant of the facts.

PS show us your tank....
PPS I don't run zeo myself, but I have in the past. I use a few of their bottles though and they work even with my algae driven system!!.
