these polyps strated coming out of my live rock. Any ideas what they are? Good Bad? Do I need to feed them- get rid of them?

any help would be appreciated

thanks

Don

I'm not sure how big they are, but they kind of look like glove polyps. But the gloves usually are linked together at the base. They grow really fast and spread out faster. But I don't think they are harmful. JMO

I was just gonna say that. Gary's quick!
Clavularia species come in all sorts of colors..
I had some that were more feathery and the same size as yours (although I couldn't get as good of a picture as you did) :)
Enjoy them.

Good call Gary.
The polyps I just spoke of came with my Indonesian live rock as well.

You shouldn't need to target feed them anything. The teeny polyp size most likely means it feeds on very small particulate matter.
I think they are mostly photosynthetic.

Didnt want to say anything until i knew they were good but
thanks Ri for the pretty polyps :o)
they came in on the rock I purchased from you

thanks Ggary and Stephany for the id and advice
