I got a frag of this a few months ago but its been a bit of a mystery to me on getting it to reach its full color potential Ive seen in others pics.It loses color on all but the underlying branches with pink tips only. Not sure why.

Starting to catch an attraction to sps but I dont have a whole lot of experience with them.Any pics or thoughts here would be great.

Mine did the same thing... I think its very fragile to strong lighting. I was lazy and just left it there and it still trippled in size and some of the top branches are still white but most underneath are all full color.

I read low light, though I have mine in mid/high with good color. Garry has his in high light and has great color.

Yeah thats why I think Im doing something wrong. My experience has pretty much been what faze07hd mentioned. When I got it I put it right on the bottom for a month moved it up 6 inches it started getting pink-purple tips with noticable growth but the green started to fade I moved it up a little further to no change. Its now in the bottom right corner and seams to be turning pinkish throughout. No green yet that I can see.

Hi, I have a few ponape colonies and frags grown from a tiny stick . They do well color wise under 250w 14k with vho supplementation about 15 inches down and to the side, and under 20k 150 mh about 10 inches down.
