Pooky's 300

nice additions, CBB's are beatiful in person. No pic does them justice....don't know why. Yours is a great pic ...not saying that but when I first got mine I was blown away. The Toyota dealership in town had a emperor about the same size as yours and it was very cool how he and the blonde naso would follow you around the tank kind of checking you out :)

Chad

I know what you mean. It's barely in the tank for about 3 hours and it's already checking me out when I walk by or stand there to check it out. Very cool and personable fish for sure.

OK, I'm not going anywhere near the "small hands" comment too many jokes.:frog: Beautiful fish Kenny...you baller you.:bum:

Gotta love those Copperbands... mine has cleaned up the few aiptasia in the tank and is quite the glutton at feeding time...doesn't back down to any of the tangs... :fish1:

Very nice, Kenny! Emperors are just gorgeous fish.

Thanks M! This angel nut finally got his hands on this one from the Christmas Islands. It took some searching and a lot of patience. Hope this puppy likes my tank. I know there will be a lot of food and with time, it'll be as fat as all my other fish :D

Beautiful and healthy CBB! I've always loved this fish but luck just wasn't on my side in the past. This is a BIG fish so that helps. The other ones just got intimidated into staying in one corner. They are common but just like the yellow tangs, it's one of my favorites.

That's good news and I assume you mean "normal" as in the typical temp range that most reefers keep their tanks, not what they normally thrive at.

Yep, I heard that the tank was kept at 79, but I am still trying to make sure that is positive. Sometimes we get all caught up in the hobby because that is what has been passed along to us. I wonder sometimes how much temperature really matters. True, they may do better in 73 degree water, but who really said they can't survive in 78 degree water under decent tank conditions. I am sure there are people that will cruxify me for even thinking these thoughts out loud, but wouldn't it be cool :p

Believe me Kenny. My tank is at 76-77 right now and even though I really want a conspic, I have been looking at banditos more and more :p
