Please stop the zoa pictures, I actually took out my PPE's last weekend when I was fidgeting with the tank :eek1:
Very nice zoa photos Kenny. How's the bandito doing? Let's see some photos of him.
Very nice Kenny, and look, my 3 favorite wrasses all hangin' out in front for their pictorial!
I also Love the Wrasses Kenny! I've got a trio of Rhomboids in QT right now!
Do you have any females for the Lineatus? It seems pretty colorful from the picture. I am going to add a single female i think and i just want to see how it holds it's color all alone...
Damn Kenny that linny just shines in front of your tank...beautiful fish.
Now that looks much better with sand back in

Thanks Ryan. Cool deal on your trio. I am thinking of adding another one or two rhomboids down the road too. Nope, no female lineatus yet. Still waiting for some to come in. From what I have heard and seen in pix, female lineatus isn't much to look at, unlike female rhomboids, which are still pretty spectacular
I love the sand Kenny. Hopefully thing continue to improve for you.
My female was nearly as gorgeous as the male. Definite showstopper. I definitely miss all of my wrasses. Now I just have to decide which and how many I can get into a 75g.![]()
Are you talking about a female lineatus or rhomboid? The female rhomboid I agree is very pretty. But the female lineatus is really a plain jane when it comes down to it. No bright colors like the male whatsoever. Unless you thought you had a female but it's actually a sub-adult male :hmm4:
How about a group of 5-6 flames? That would surely add a nice splash of color to any tank. I currently have 6 in there and love it. If there is still room after a few more additions, I might throw in more.
Thanks Brian. It just wasn't natural without it. I was only able to tolerate it for a couple of weeks. Things are going well in general. Although a couple of colonies bleached out in the last few months and it looks like the Season's Greetings Monti is gone. The Key Lime mycedium isn't looking too hot. Half of it is already just skeleton and the other half is showing no signs of the colors coming back yet even though it's been shaded for a while now. That's one fickle piece and I've had it for a long time.
My Lineatus' were definitely a mated pair, and the female was beautiful. The males coloration were a little bit richer, but she was still prettier than most female fairy's. It's funny too, because I always thought my female rhomboid was a little too plain.
Well hopefully this will be the end to your troubles.
