Pooky's 300

Who said we can't have the best of both worlds :lol2:

I didn't, but I do know two woner who came home to find their feminius' as jeky. Talk about expensive jerky :eek1: At least with nippers, they usually stay in the water :frog:

I did the see the new fishies. Couldn't tell what the flashers were but it looks like two of your tangs are an achilles and a PBT. What's the third? Looks to be a purple or a chevron from the top profile.

Good guess Kenny, #3 is a purple tang. They are all pretty small right now with the Achilles being 4" and the PBT being 3" and the purple being 2". I'm amazed by how much they graze on the rocks! So much different than my big naso that just wants prepared food and nori :lmao:

I'm letting the new little flashers settle in first ...

I thought I saw one for $999 so you are still in the game Kenny, but since they are extemely poor shippers; I'm not so sure. I had one possibly lined up before I got my second joc, but I just couldn't do it :(

Couple of decent pix. I'll definitely keep trying for better ones. It's such a beautiful subject to shoot.

OMG Kenney!!! Like I was saying to you yesterday, such a BEAUTIFUL fish... Just magnificent! I hope to own one some day down the line!

The restocking process has started and I've already gotten a handful of frags in the tank. Hopefully with everything in check, they will start growing nicely soon. Still keeping my eyes out for another handful that I would like to replace.

Keep us posted on your future additions please!

Wow, that's a nice sized achilles. Ever since my last PBT passed, I've been thinking about either another PBT or an achilles. That will have to wait until I have a better idea of my new fish plans as it's always evolving.

Last one I saw on DD was around $1200 I believe.

Yikes, I was only joking about the $1000 limit. Too many of those and I won't be able to sleep at night :hmm4:

I was only joking at this point. Haven't had much luck with Anampses wrasses up to this point. Plus, I am looking into a controller at this time. It's time I get out of the Ice Age and into the Stone Age :mixed:

Thanks Dave. It was a pleasure talking to you yesterday. The conspic is a great fish to have if circumstances allow. As for additions, I already have a few that I still need to take pix to document their progress :)

Were are you seeing these for $999, or even $1200? I am in the market for one. My local fish store quoted $1350 for a starfire. Just not sure if that is just the front glass. Please PM me if there is a place to order online for that price.

Very true, Brian. The social interaction between Centropyges is definitely very different from the other angels. I wonder what the C. interrupta will be like in this tank :hmm2: :frog:

I wonder too. There are more and better specimens coming lately, I'm sure that it won't be long before one of us has one.

We were actually talking about a fish at that price and not a fishtank ... sorry!

Thanks Dan da Man! Still one of my all time favorites. Now how long will it take this to grow to a softball sized colony???
