Pooky's 300

What's the temperatur like up at the lakes during the summer? And is the lake water cold? I hate jumping into cold water, that's the reason we don't go into the beaches here that often. It's definitely a possible future destination once the kids are older.

Yep. He can sure make them glow. Now it's a matter of if I can keep those colors in my tank.

It can get nice and warm up there ... 80's and 90's in the summer months. The water is pretty decent in mid July through late August. It's nice and refreshing when it's hot outside. The water is way warmer than the SoCal coast water! Right now the ice is just about ready to break up on the lakes. We snowmobile on it in the winter and boat on it in the summer ;)

That pearlberry is a beauty!

Arrgghhh!!! I hate it when the skimmer overflows for no reason, at least none that I can think of. Between dropping my kids off at school this morning and coming home to some work on the computer, the skimmer has managed to dump almost 2 days of skimmate back into the sump, which now looks like a nice bubble bath :mad2:

:(

At least mine was because I had a coral spawning in my tank. GL on the clean up Kenny.

I didn't notice the 2 little green spots until a couple of days later. It looks like they are centered around a couple of polyps. Almost look like a grafted piece. Any other owners out there having seen the same thing?

Great Kenny! Now I'm blinded and running into walls cause everywhere I look I see a bright red spot.

If thats the orenji, then yes, mine has done that from time to time ;)

Realized today that YOU'RE the one stealing all the nice fish from Richard and Frank! Geesh, you really are going after John's collection! :lol2:

Not stealing, more like emptying my wallet :fun2: Trust me, a few more and I am done. Not a nut like John with tanks all over the house. My wife is tolerant but not that tolerant.
