Pooky's 300

Soooo.......I got up enough nerve to finally mod one of the 6105's. And boy does that thing blow or does it blow. Of course, there is no real way to measure it but I can definitely feel a BIG difference with just the hand in front of it :D

Unfortunately, I didn't think to take any shots of the modded 6105. I'll be sure to do that when I do the other one. Now it makes me wonder if I should do that to the 6205's :spin1:

:o I was too chicken to cut into it. I should probably do that to the 6205's instead of adding more Streams.

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there!!! :wavehand:

Kenny, what mod did you do and what is it supposed to do?

Happy Father's day to you too.

Happy Father's day to you too.

hope you guys had a great day today. :)

Thanks! Had a great brunch and really stuffed my face. Looks like I'll need more time at the gym :hammer:

I just cut out every other one of those whatchamacallits on the shroud and on the motor block too. The flow really increased noticeably, probably the larger openings allowed more water to be drawn in. Don't really know if it changes the spread though. Either way, I can see significant difference in the water movement within the tank. I've been contemplating adding a couple more Streams to increase water movement but now I may not have to. Or maybe add just one more.

A nice so-called "deep water" variety. Whatever that means.

Wow, those are super bright Kenny. Is that what you picked up at Richard's the other day? Nice seeing you and the kids, sorry we couldn't hang out more.

Thanks Dan. It was nice seeing you too. Didn't want to chat up everyone while the photo thing was happening. I am sure we'll catch up some time soon.

I actually got that and a few others from Richard couple months ago. Took some pix but never got to process them. Saturday, I picked up one of the melons that Richard was selling to replace something I had lost.

Those are very nice Kenny. So bright too.

Thanks Fonda! They are very bright. Don't know much about these "deep-water" zoas, but they sure have some nice pop to them :)

Very nice Kenny  How is the summer treating you?

The summer's been good. Getting hot now though but shouldn't be too bad. Hope your summer is starting out in the right fashion. It's been nice having the wife and kids home. I get to see them more since I work at home :)

How are you liking the World Cup so far? We don't watch TV at home, but the few times I was able to catch some here and there (friends/restaurants) was pretty good. Didn't see any of the controversial stuff though. I always forget how much running I had to do when I was playing. No wonder I have a spare tire around the waist now :o

Yikes Kenny, when did you turn into a zoa guy :lmao: j/k looking nice and colonies not frags too!
