Pooky's 300

Yikes Kenny, when did you turn into a zoa guy :lmao: j/k looking nice and colonies not frags too!

Actually, you should have seen my zoa/paly collection way back when. For some reason, I couldn't keep them happy and kept losing them slowly. This was even before the angels came along. Just thought I would add a few back to see what happens.

Very nice Kenny, better keep those angels away from them :D.

Thanks Brian. No problems with the angels when it comes to zoas so far, so knock on wood. Who knows, one day they may find it irresistible :uzi:

Another one for you zoa heads :lol2:

:spin2: Those zoas wierd me out, they look like they are staring at me. I think they are trying to hypnotize me! Must click to another thread...Nice photo Kenny, very sharp.

You didn't imagine it, Dan. They are talking to you. I fell under the same spell when I saw them the first time :D

I thought this was a pretty cool shot of the two next to each other.

The summer's been good. Getting hot now though but shouldn't be too bad. Hope your summer is starting out in the right fashion. It's been nice having the wife and kids home. I get to see them more since I work at home :)

How are you liking the World Cup so far? We don't watch TV at home, but the few times I was able to catch some here and there (friends/restaurants) was pretty good. Didn't see any of the controversial stuff though. I always forget how much running I had to do when I was playing. No wonder I have a spare tire around the waist now :o

Things are good on the home front. The world cup makes everything better :celeb1: I would like to lawmakers in CA finalize the budget so I can stop stressing over the minimum wage threat. Beyond that, its family and my health first and then if I have enough time, I play with the tank. The good thing about taking a break from the tank has been that I've logged over 250 miles in the running shoes over the last two months :eek2:

Sorry to hear about work stresses. At least the family is doing well. Something to be appreciative for. There is belt tightening everywhere. Even my wife, who's a teacher, had to have furlough days. It's not like she can just stop working for those days or not set up her classroom at the start of the school year. So basically she has to work those days for no pay b/c there isn't time to do that stuff otherwise.

I've been hitting the gym too as much as I can. Trying to reduce this full size spare down to a doughnut

I understand and feel for your wife. Some of the school districts have been hit really hard. Training has been my refuge and losing close to 30lbs since Nov has been a nice bonus. If we do get reduced to minimum wage, that might be the last straw in my reefing career. I'll need to sell my tank just to pay the bills. Have I ever said how much I like politics :spin2:

Dude, I am not even looking to lose much weight. I just want to REDISTRIBUTE everything proportionally :o

Hope you don't have to ever come to that. But if you do, I am sure you have enough local friends who will hold your corals in case you jump back in later on.

Woah! That's 4.16 miles per day! that's some serious movement going on there.

All the best of luck to you Mark. But reefing will never be a priority, but a great hobby.

I've been redistributing for a few years now :p I back to what I weighed before we had Emma and still took vacations. A vacation sure sounds nice right about now.

As for the corals, If I do go down that route, I will get rid of everything and take one of those nice vacation thingys

Thanks Leo, Reefing is just a hobby and even though it would be tough to walk away from, that might be the small nudge I need :worried:

Thanks, its been a rough road back, but between the running, strength training, world cup and family, I have not had time to really worry about the glassbox.

One of my battle scarred veterans, the Red Planet. It was down to a small thumbnail sized patch and it's now fully recovered. Encrusted probably 3" across and starting to put up some branches. It's a rather common Acro but I still like it. The colors are coming in nicely also.
