Thanks Mark. For top downs, I am usually about 16" on up depending on the size of the subjects, but no more than 30" though.

How do you account for the reflection from the lights since you are not using a top down box? Are you staging and shooting in the same spot?

The pendant rides on tracks. I simply put it back far enough where the reflection isn't an issue but still give me good lighting for the shoot. You'll know what I mean once you see it in person

:lol: Not a problem. I'm actually quite over it now, even having fun again. Not too many sticks yet though. I'll wait on those a bit longer. Now my problems revolve around keeping the chalices and frags away from the Acan and Favia frags......Little b@stards all have nastly long sweepers!
