Looks like whatever was afflicting my Cali tort is back 
In the last couple of days, half of the remaining colony died. Not only that, but whatever the bug is, it's attacking my other torts as well. A fist sized colony of the Oregon tort is bone white now. That took almost 3 years to grow from a small frag. Couple of other tort colonies are showing some STN at the base. All other SPS appear to be fine so far. I am completely stumped and frustrated.

Kenny that sucks! I’m assuming that you’ve checked your parameters, anything that could have caused an ALK spike over the last few days? Does this coincide with adding the new kalk reactor? I feel your fustration!

Dan, the new kalk reactor isn't online yet. Mostly been busy but also lazy Haven't checked parameter lately. Even if it was something out of whack, why would it only affect the torts? Seeing the white skeletons almost made me want to give up on SPS. Well, just for a split second.
