Portable digital photo album ?

Hello,
Looking for any input on a decent portable digital photo album.
Anything with a decent screen quality for less then $150?

Or, a way to save jpgs so they would play on a portable dvd player?

Thanks,
Joe

I've just started researching the world of portable storate. It looks like the leading storage units right now are the PD70X and Nexto-CF. But they are for storage mainly- for showing off your pictures it's not so simple (although it's not simple for the storage units either...). Epson makes a popular model- the P2000. Supposed to have a very nice screen and good functionality. Archos and Zen Vision make units that have good screens too but as far as which is the best... I'd rather not guess as that's all it would be :p
Saving jpegs so they'll play on dvd player- that's a bit simpler. Many inexpensive (and some even free) programs will do that for you- do a google search with something like 'dvd slideshow' and you'll get many hits. You're basically just creating a slideshow with your photos and burning it to dvd- your burning software program may already do this for you.

Just my 2 censt, buy why not an old laptop?

I was looking for something smaller and easier to carry to bring to conferences, etc but it is starting to look like an attractive idea.

I was told the Epson is the way to go:

I'm about to try the following:

It looks somewhat easy to figure out.
Thanks,

For that kind of money I'd probably opt for a video ipod, incredible screen resolution, very bright display, ultra portable and flexible.

I just found a "Click to DVD" on my Sony Laptop, so it was literally sitting right in front of me all along. The program works very well, and is easy to use. I was impressed with the quality of the DVD footage (downloaded from a miniDV player) and the still pictures from my files.
The Epson units sure are nice, but I'll have to wait till the price comes down. It has a decent sized screen, that is really crisp.
