Possible for squamosa?

I remember reading that squams dont need as intense lighting as cros, maxes and ders. So would it be possible to maintain a squam under my 48w of PC if it were to be close towards the upper half of the tank?

I think that would be a bad idea. I would want a minimum of at least 175 total watts of mh, pc, or vho for evan a Squamosa.
