wow! great shots everyone.
Thank you all for posting.
Marc, your tank is looking amazing- I like that perspective of it.

Eric- Im enjoying your scape and that scroll on the lower right of your tank. (that is a scroll right?)

Bella, judging from your top down you are keeping some lovely corals- especially that acans colony in the upper left...(nice picasso too!) Could you tell me what your zoas with the green mouths are called?

heres a panning shot I took of Kraylen's pride and joy.

Beautiful Ricordea and Anthias Louis- thank you for posting some images! are you still keeping that fish?
Im seeing some excellent growth on this Favia frag (at least I think that is what it is). It started as only 2 mouths and has more than tripled in a few months.

Klepto - yes, 2 females and a male. Though there has definately been some increased agression lately. All three are fat and happy. When I upgrade to the 120 I am thinking about adding two more small females. These fish add nice color and lots of movement to the tank.

very cool.
I recently picked up a male Maldives Lyretail from my LFS. Anthias sure are beautiful.
what are you feeding them?

flake 1-2x a day (gasp) as well as a once a day mix of Mysis, Prime reef and cyclopeeze.

I got a chance to check out the holding tanks that the Monterey Bay Aquarium has. Here is a shot of one of the tanks. Sorry about the halide glare and what not- just a few snaps to give feel for all the colonies.

I was told by one of their aquarists that they have a 12ftx5ftx5ft reef in the works... :D I can't wait!

Did they say how long they quarantine new arrivals?
I didn't ask. The main reef display doesnt look very heavily stocked at the moment. I didn't notice any significant additions since I was their last. Im not at all positive, but I think these colonies (plus a great deal more that will be collected for their use) are for the new reef.
Many of these colonies were from confiscated orders that were shipped without proper permits etc.

here is my favorite colony in their display. I love the hue on the base of this thing. Anyone know what the species is?
yes I realize this first is not in the best focus..
