My Purple Tang has two small white dots on his tail, but also has a small piece missing from it as well.
A small ricordia coral was added about 5 weeks ago, but that is it.
The only thing of note happening in the tank recently is a checkerboard wrasse being caught due him becoming violent in the tank. I couldn't find the answer to this question, but the white spot is most definitely raised off the skin and I dunno if Ich does that or if it appears flat.

Any information would be appreciated. I can catch him easily enough, but obviously don't want to treat him for something he does not have. This will also be the first signs of Ich in the tank.
