Powerhead or Wavebox 6208

Good Morning Roger:

Congratulations on the new addition to your family.

I am seeking advice for additional flow in a 48x30x18 that will be SPS dominant.

Currently, I have two 6095s that I will use on the back wall. They were going to be placed on opposite sides with the flow crossing towards the front.

However, I don't believe this will be enough flow as the tank matures.

Would you recommend an additional Powerhead - and if so, which one? Or should I add a Wavebox?

Also, I can't use a Tunze on the center of the back wall because a 24" overflow will occupy the top portion - so Powerhead and Wavebox (if recommended) placement is needed too.

I think the 6095's could be enough, make sure that the power supply has the 24V jumper installed, they come with 20V preinstalled and if they were not changed you are not getting the full performance.

I would probably add a 6208 Wavebox if there is room for at least a 3/4" wave. Otherwise, if you feel you need more, a 3rd 6095 or replacing 1 6095 with a 6105 should do it. The wavebox can go anywhere on one side, due to the overflow it should be forward of the overflow box, if you go with a 3rd 6095, you could mount it on the overflow.
