price increases

Have the nano streams issues been resolved and that is the reasoning behind the 10% price increase? I am considering a 6045 and I don't want to purchase something that is going to break especially after a price increase.

Nanostream issues have ben resolved. The only thing I think you may still stumble upon is a nano with the old style brakcet in the box as stores go thru stock they already had. The price increase did not have to do with any of these changes and was not just on the nanos. there was a across the board increase recently due to the very poorly performing US dollar as all tunze is imported from Germany. Heck last time I checked the Canadian dollar was worth more than ours even. Other European vendors put thru price increase this year including Deltec and Geismann

Thanks for the info on the pumps. I see your with the salty critter have you moved through the old stock yet? If so I will be placing the order soon.

As shawnz28 said. The price increase was based solely on exchange rate the old price had not been changed since 2005 when it was set at 1.28 to the Euro. We are now at 1.50 and the price is currently set at 1.44 to the Euro so it is still slightly discounted. A few products were not affected because they are US made or made from US components but most everything else went up due only to the exchange rate.

It is possible but likely it will remain as it is today, we already do some light assembly work here and source components from US manufacturers like Spears. The new line of RO units and RO accessories are all assembled here.

there may be some of the old clips still mixed with the new. i honestly am not sure at the moment. all pumps are the newest revision though
