ProfiLux compatible with Elos dimmer?

I have the ProfiLux III and an Elos Estripe LED light fixture. I recently purchased the new Elos dimmer and E-vision Tempo controller but would like the additional control and simplicity that my ProfiLux contoller. My question are: Is the Elos dimmer which has a PWM connection out of the dimmer compatible with Profilux L1-L4inputs? Do I need the PWM module from ProfiLux and is everything compatible?

Hi

if it has a PWM external input then potentially yes, but we would need further technical details of the lamp, i.e does it need passive or active PWM control, my uneducated guess will be passive as it will have its own built in drivers. You then then need the pin outs of the elos unit. Only Elos can supply them of course.

The best place to post this is on the GHL manufacturers support forum so the developers can assist directly

its in both scroll down the page to see the english, some tabs are in german but it does not take too much grey power to work out what they are as it uses the same VBB as nearly everyone.
