Front shots from the display room (Den). Only 1 light sitting in the middle of the tank (for now)...it's a cheap LED light...50 3 watt LED's (25 white and 25 blue). Only the actinics are on. This light will end up over my frag tank. Purchased 3 Reef Tech Promethius for the main lighting (that will be up on the light rack by the end of the month).

thanks Mike......I wanted to leave alot of room for the fish to swim...I'm sure it won't be long before I run out of Real Estate once I start adding corals!!! My first tank (85 gal flat back hex) was loaded with rock and I don't like that look anymore. I'm slowly moving the bulk of that rock to the sump.

I have to install a false background to block the rest of the fish room. Also need to learn to take better pics. I still need to hook up the 40 gal refugium and 20 gal breeder frag tank to the system.

Thanks guys......the pyramids are favorites of mine as well. These 2 are the survivors of a couple of attempts (purchased 5 in total at 2 different times ....2 died of flukes in QT, another only lived 1 week). The larger of the 2 I have didn't eat for 40 days, (I monitored it in QT....he might have been picking when I wasn't around but during that time frame I never saw him eat anything....he was bone thin). The other pyramid ate from day 1. They both eat everything now and have a good belly on them.

My son convinced me to get the Achilles. He eats all frozen foods (mysis, brine, blood worms, krill), a little picky with flake and pellets but I try to feed a mixture in hopes that he starts to eat everything. I feed him nori everyday as well (treated with vitamins and garlic). I've had him for a little over 2 wks now....looks good. I'm just a little apprehensive about when I put him in the DT because I know there is ich in there. Haven't had an outbreak since I moved the fish from my 85 gal tank to the new tank. I'm hoping that I don't have a reoccurence.
