yeah i think im going,i think it may be best to do it before the meeting.i know joe wants help lifting his tank after the meeting and i would like to get home after that.it shouldnt take too long to redo the rocks.do you have some kind of canister filter, once we start moving rocks it will get cloudy, the can will help keep it somewhat clean for us to see.

I was thinking we can tank lift before the meeting but Ill take the help when I can get it,,

we can figure it out joe.

i got my pipe ordered today :) but the price makes me fell like i had a bad shower in prison :( it is costing me $35/ft and i had to buy 5 ft.anyhow once i get the pipe i will get the skimmer assembled in a few hours max.im crossing my fingers that the pipe arrives by friday but its coming out of new york so i have my doubts.

i got my pipe today :) and i now have a monster skimmer for my tank.i cant wait till tomorrow to start hooking it up,i imagine it will skim the heck out of the tank.so here she is................

wow super job on that i think you should change fields of work it looks so professional
are you gonna drill the cup for a over flow or leave it as is ?

what size pipe is that 8 " ?

i may drill the cup for an overflow but not sure yet.i will need to get a small rubbermaid to use as a sump for the skimmer just in case it overflows.

the eheim really pulls in some air and i imagine after it breaks in,it will skim the heck out of my tank.the video really shows the air mixing

nice skimmer, video sounds like the tank is in a contruction zone though lol, I hope its not actually that loud.

Hey Chris that thing rocks! Did you run it in with vinegar first or are you just going to let it break in on its own? Has it produced any skimmate yet?
