Everything is possible notwithstanding luck alone juz like my fantastic reefer mate who has successfully bred and raised the notoriously impossible
Oblique-Lined or Mccullochi Dottyback
in his decent home apartment without prohibitive capital investment.[/QUOTE]

There's been plenty of literature of rearing dottybacks, if I recall correctly Matin Moe had plenty of info on rearing them back inthe 90's. So no news there.

You will certainly not find much info on what are you trying to acomplish , b/c everyday household tanks are not 1500 gallons.
Not many tanks with multiple powder blues/or powder browns either right?

I didn't ask for debates in the first place but constructive feedbacks. Before I can even contribute & post my observations, I am receiving all these negativisms. At least you have given me some guidelines to start. :twitch:

But now I'm considering to withdraw from this thread to save all these hassles.

kueytoc,

I see no point in you & others debating this............It seems everyone has weighed in at this point.

Why don't you keep this thread going with posts of your photographic progress monthly & share your experience/findings over the next year. It should be easy to share your observations on how they do.

Start with tank size, other tank mates, what you are feeding, how often. Why not post a quick video of them to keep here on file. How are they getting along now, is there a pecking order?

:fish1: Sure common dottybacks yes but not the Oblique-Lined/Mccullochi Dottyback.

BTW, mine not even 200gal. ;)

:hmm6: Sure...close this thread. I can share & contribute my observations elsewhere. :bounce3:
