Egads! 30 friggin foot long worm?. Nuke from orbit, it's the only way to be sure...

No, I'm pretty sure we're in for a bug hunt ;)

And I thought my 3" fireworms were big!

so funny as I saw this post today and then I just found one in my pico tank. Of course he is alot smaller but has the little black tentacles in the front and is a little lighter in color but I am sure it is the same. I was able to get him out and now wondering what I should do with it. I am sure it will come to a demise real quick but still.

So you think your worm is big?:D

Then you should check out what some guy just pulled out of his tank in Europe! Its in the 'other invertebrates' forum:smokin:

Thats insanity, I would probaly destroy my sump trying to kill him through the glass because I would be to scared to stick my hand in the water.:hammer: :blown: I hope you get him

eunicid...probably just fine in the sump. He's a good detrivore, and doing no harm where he is.

update on kraken, he is still in my fuge and growing fast, I feed him jumbo mysis & krill every couple of days, he has the biggest appetite in the tank! he has also made his own tunnel in the coner of the tank, which he never leaves since I started feeding him!
I just caught a small lightening fast red & white worm out of my display, and I am hoping it is not babys of kraken!
will post pics soon!

I'm glad you decided to keep him.
Be careful, though: I imagine that when this worm gets big/adventurous enough, he may be able to climb up the drain and into the main tank.
Let us know when stuff in the DT starts to mysteriously disappear...

Still, a very cool worm.

....Eunice spp..aka (bobbit worms) Scavenger and predatory. Don`t put your finger near it`s head to pet it lol....you`ll be sorry. make sure it can`t get to your display!!:eek1:

ps in the wild they can reach 50 feet and an inch in dia....enjoy;)
