Haven't really showed any pics of the solana due to me stocking very slowly over the last year. Pretty much fully stocked now mainly with SPS Zoas and a couple LPS. Just about 3 more corals out there that I'm looking for then Ill be ready to sit back and let it grow.

Lighting: 150w 14k Phoenix (Looking to upgrade to a 250w Sunpod in the near future.

Flow: MP20 on full Reefcrest mode.

Fish: 2 Picassos
Bluespot Jawfish (Soon to be)
A lot of the SPS were moved around yesterday hence the new aquamend at there base.

Very nice.

Very nice.

Good job keeping diatom and HA under control, something I struggled with in every nano I ever had. Interesting that you removed the stock loc-line and just let the returns flow directly into the tank... Are you using a dry-box in the center chamber for your MP20?

Everything looks happy. Good job.

Haven't really had any problems with algae (knock on wood) I'm very picky about the tank and do weekly water changes like clock work. I also run carbon out of a Two Little Fishies Reactor. I've got tons of flow going through this tank, I never dial down the MP20 at all.

Patrick, looks like you are getting some good growth out of the frags you have had for awhile. Nice selection of sps, soaz and paly's. Looking good...

Oh and for those that are wondering the barnacle shell in the front left is my DIY Jawfish house. The Barnacle is connected to pvc which is underneath the sand.

nice set up patrick...very jealous of your blue tubs (i think that is what they are) where did you get most of your zoos...very nice. Keep up the nice work.

oh...that is what its called...very nice...if it gets big enough to frag off...think of me...i would be interested in getting one just let me know how much. oh yeah, better keep an eye out for those aptasia...they multiply fast. I have some aptasia x if you want to borrow some, it sorta worked for me but wanted to try the berghia to see how well they do since i had to much to apply one at a time. Pm me if you are interested in using some.

IM actually picking some up
from Paul as well thanks though. Yeah I just fragged roughly 12 heads about a week ago

Some new Pics I took of the coral, sry if the photos are a little "off" I don't have a very good eye for it.

By the way I love PE on sps :P

Nice close up pics... Now I am really jealous of the PPE. Do you dose your tank with coral food if so what kind do you use. Polyp extension looks good. Keep up the good work

Dont really feed the corals maybe once in two weeks after the lights are out I'll put a little food in. Other than that I just do weekly water changes to keep everything happy. My PPE are probably my fav at the moment. Just a couple more sps frags out there that I want and one high end chalice im in the market for. Just one...

Quick little update. I ordered the 250w Sunpod which should be here Tuesday or Wednesday. I also should be getting a shapphire aquatics skimmer here in the next week or two. Still running the stock skimmer and the micro bubbles have gone away, just have my mind set to upgrading, and that should be my last upgrade

Bluespot Jawfish is at the fish store atm in QT and should be able to come home Friday if all goes well!

I think I saw your Blue Spot jawfish when I was doing my LFS road trip on Friday... He's a curious and busy little guy.

A tip from my own bitter experience: Cover your Solana or you're likely to find your litte Bluespot on the carpet. Mine jumped the first night I owned him... a real bummer for a great little fish. I have some screening you can use if you want a piece. You'll just have to make some type of framing to lay on the tank...

LL

Yes that would be him. I use to have jawfish a few months back. I made a diy screen top for my tank but failed at putting it back in position one day after my weekly water change and the was his shot :-( There one of my favorite fish and I've improve my top so he won't have the chance!

Well my clam needed a haircut... So as you can see below I gave him one :P

and here it is 6 1/2 min later:

Was a little scared doing it but for some reason he got algae on him and this happened in a weeks time.

Some other new photos that I took this evening...

And the two clowns. Bad pic I know but it was the best one out of about 40. They are always on the move and its a pita to try to get them to pose for me.

The 250w Sunpod is on the tank waiting until after Christmas to order probably a XM 20k bulb for it. Also the Shapphire Aquatics Skimmer should be here in a couple of days.
