Haven't really showed any pics of the solana due to me stocking very slowly over the last year. Pretty much fully stocked now mainly with SPS Zoas and a couple LPS. Just about 3 more corals out there that I'm looking for then Ill be ready to sit back and let it grow.

Lighting: 150w 14k Phoenix (Looking to upgrade to a 250w Sunpod in the near future.)

Flow: MP20 on full Reefcrest mode.

Fish: 2 Picassos
Bluespot Jawfish (Soon to be)

A lot of the SPS were moved around yesterday hence the new aquamend at there base.

nice set up. Had any probs with that rbta in there? do u have the glass top on, because i hear blue spot jawfish are major jumpers

Nope no problems with the rbta. He actually stays where I put him (knock on wood) I've had to move him twice due to re aquascaping. I use to have a blue spot for about 4 months then one night I screwed up and left the top off and that was his chance. I have a really secure net framed top that I use.

Looks like i'm going to have to upgrade my skimmer here fairly soon. I've got microbubbles everywhere. So i'm thinking Shappire or Tunze...

Some new Pics I took of the coral, sry if the photos are a little "off" I don't have a very good eye for it.

By the way I love PE on sps :P

Quick little update. I ordered the 250w Sunpod which should be here Tuesday or Wednesday. I also should be getting a shapphire aquatics skimmer here in the next week or two. Still running the stock skimmer and the micro bubbles have gone away, just have my mind set to upgrading, and that should be my last upgrade

Bluespot Jawfish is at the fish store atm in QT and should be able to come home Friday if all goes well!

Pudge, does your rbta go into full-bubble-tip mode? That look kinda bothers me, although your's looks fine. If I do get an anemone it might be a sebae.

Sometimes at most it is half and half. All the pumps are turned off in the photos so it just sitting there. Usually it's swaying around quite a bit from all the water movement. When I fist got it it had all bubble tips but its probably tripled its size sense then and has lost them.

No. I hardly feed it as it is. Maybe once every other week. But when I feed the tank that is a somewhat high flow area so I see it grabbing mysis and brine when it touches

I need to get some updated pics of the anemone with the pumps on so you can see how it is. Also got my bluespot on Friday that I need to get pics of once it makes it's burrow.

Nice tank Pudge! Can you post pics of your picassos? I just love them, I want a pair so badly, I'm on a waiting list at my LFS for a pair of snowflake clowns.

Update!

Well my clam needed a haircut... So as you can see below I gave him one :P

Was a little scared doing it but for some reason he got algae on him and this happened in a weeks time.

Some other new photos that I took this evening...

And the two clowns. Bad pic I know but it was the best one out of about 40. They are always on the move and its a pita to try to get them to pose for me.

The 250w Sunpod is on the tank waiting until after Christmas to order probably a XM 20k bulb for it. Also the Shapphire Aquatics Skimmer should be here in a couple of days.

Really nice tank. A few questions... Are you doing any two part dozing to keep up with calcium needs? Is your Sunpod 250 sitting on top of the tank and any problems with SPS burning? Last one is any problems with algae besides on the glass?

Ron

I'm actually about to start dosing 2 part probably next week. The sunpod is on the tank forthe time being while figure out a way to hang it. I've only had the ligh for a week so I'm still acclimating the tank to it with some window screening. No algae issues except for a little on the clam as you see in the pic. No idea where it came from. But that's about it really.
