Turn the power off and let the anemone work itself out of it. Then take good care of it and hope it will recover

My purple gig has had not one but two encounters with a vortech. It's suffered greatly but is slowly recovering. Keep good water conditions and keep your fingers crossed.

+1. Twice for me too. Both times it recovered, though it took out a couple of fish in the process. Make sure you do a big water change.

It seems worse today when i got home like its upsidedown was a bad sign of it not making it or having a chance?

it's a very bad sign. IME gigs hold on even when they are starting to decay. i would get it into a QT tank ASAP, and treat with Cipro.

i had a green carpet get part of itself inside a hob tube, how i dont know but the tube was full of him and i saw no possible way of getting him out without hurting him. i took the tube off and he got out and not a scratch on him. I think he went in there to eat algae:hmm3:
