Purple gig

Thanks guys! And it continues to look better. I consider myself lucky to have all three without using cipro and none of them cut.here is yet another pic one hour later. The mouth is closed and it continues to achieve a more relaxed posture. It happens to be the area of the highest and most chaotic flow. So if it stays, that says something.

OK so its an hour or so into lights out and the actinics are on. The gig has shrank a bunch and the mouth is closed but not looking great. Its prolly just acclimating. I'll know more in the morning.

So I woke up this morning and hurried downstars to see what condition everything was in and was pleased to see this

:dance::celeb1::celeb3:

Hold the phone! OK so now it looks like this.

My blue has done this twice but it waited a long time to do it.
So I am so close to pulling and treating its not even funny. I'm thinking its acclimating to the new conditions. But I may not wait to find out

Yep its pulled and in the HT it will be going. I'm starting a round of cipro treatment as I leave today. Its mouth started to gape and I said no way. I pulled it and threw it in the ht immediately. My plan is to treat and cover the HT with a dark blanket. Since I leave for work at 2pmThat will mean it only gets 5 hours of bright light but I think getting cipro rolling is worth the risk.Or I could just wait till I get back to treat at midnight.Which would keep the light cycle fairly normal.

I got home from work and began treatment after I turned off the lights. It was still looking rather small and the mouth was open. But when I woke up it was huge again. The mouth was large and closed. I'm feeling pretty good about how it's going. At this point that is lol.

looks like an improvement already - hoping its recovers for you. no signs of stress on your other two right?

The other two are fine. They are smaller over the course of a couple months. Due to an old bulb and I have avoided feeding until recently. They look the same as always otherwise. I'm thinking of upgrading to either a 400w or two 250w. The blue has gotten much smaller due to being shaded by the green. I don't attribute those problems to being sick though. The shrinking has been so gradual I didn't notice it until I looked at old photos.

Today marks 4 days in the HT and I will be performing its 4th treatment. tonight and it will get its last treatment tomorrow night. and stay in one more day or so to make sure all is good. Its last deflation was the one night. and is looking good. its posture is improved a bunch, mouth tight, nice color still. It had its tentacles shorten a bit. but looks good overall.here is a pick after the lights came on.

I have kept an eye on the other nems and they are looking the same so far.
