Purple gig

Thanks guys. I'll need it. My other two are acting funny mouths are open a little like they are regulating and are a lil smaller. I have been doing 5 gallon water changes from the display which is 50 gallons total volumes 15 gallons in 3 days. Which are the only water changes I ve done so far. Lol. So I've knocked the stability around on them and I'm hoping that's why. Oh and I haven't changed carbon in a long time. So I'm going to add some tonight. When I get home. I'm a little paranoid can ya tell:)

hope they turn around for ya might just be the shock of all the water changes maybe get the new lights on there to help them some also

Just another update on this guy. He is flipping huge right now!! a good 12-14" unfurled. the mouth is closed and no signs of deflation. So it appears to be a go for either tomorrow or the next day for placing it back in the display.I want to do it tonight so I will be home to observe it settling in. But I think one more day of treatment is wise.
And as for the other two gigs, I placed a bag of chemipure elite in the overflow box this morning. And the gigs seem to like it better and are acting closer to normal. I shouldn't let the carbon or chemipure lax like that. I will continue to watch carefully though.
Oh and I just located another purple carpet. for cheap!!! Its in someones tank in the middle of nowhere and needs it gone. So since my job needs me near him I will pick it up. I dont know if its a gig or haddoni. the pictures are bad but it looks very haddoni like. I wont know till i pick it up I think. Either way I would be stupid to not pick it up for the price.

Ahhh.. looks nice...

Where is it located?

Middle of no where? I think that is down the street from me, about an hour.

Well I took the gig out of QT today and placed it in the display tank. It is looking great so far. As you can see it lost some color in QT but I expected that during treatment. I'm so happy that there is a way to save these beautiful creatures and its so worth the effort. Well here are the pics.

And here are the three musketeers.

And a FTS

now that is looking so nice nice ----and once again we have to thank minh for his advise on how to do the treatment on these guys

good job on this
