Purple Limeade, Cranberries A. nasuta

Finally took a picture of mine, also from RM.

And here's another nasuta I picked up from RM...

Has anyone seen the rainbow nausta from LA? I just got a sweet frag of it from them. Another must have Nausta. It's blue, green w/ red polyps.

I drool over this piece every time they post one on LA...still haven't worked up the nerve to order one yet. $90 for a 1" piece is a little rich for me right now...maybe when some fellow reefers have frags to offer...or if I ever make my way up there (since it's only about a 3-hour drive)...gotta remember those jeans with the rubber-lined pockets. :D

Looks close to mine from my old tank.

Now that my new tank is going up soon, I gotta track down the people I gave frags to. ;)
I think my keyboard just shorted out from the drool...
:D

Jay4Robin, Where are you keeping yours in the tank and under what lighting? It would be nice to see my new piece color up (thanks Art). The polyps are gorgeous but the branches are pretty creamy, no real green to speak of. I currently have it off to the side 1/2 way up in the tank in medium flow under the 14K phoenix bulbs. I was thinking of getting it up higher and in the more direct hot spot of my lighting. What are others thoughts on this plan?

I have it about 15 inches under my lighting. I use the 14k hqi 250 watt phoienix and T5 actinics. its under the direct spot light area. Its starting to show the lime color on the skin. The polyps looks great and its starting to encrust. I would go slow moving yours up.

Mine is coming tomorrow! I'm glad for the info, I got one six weeks ago and it came in creamy, and just got lighter and lighter, and bit the dust a week ago. I started it on the bottom, it got a slight tinge, I moved it up a little, it looked good, and then down the tubes. I hope this one has a little color to it.

Growth shots through 2006-2007. This colony started as a small frag. It didn't come from RM.
