Purple SPS Polyps Changing Color

My LFS had some SPS'S for $5 and I got one. It had bare patches but I thought what the hell. It had purple skin with brown polyps with a green tinge on the tips of the polyps. Have had it for 3 weeks or so bout a foot from 165watt LEDS. The green on the polyps tips is now turning bluish. Is it normal for color change to happen? It's my 1st SPS so I don't know if color changes r common. The purple skin and bluish polyps is really nice looking. Will post pic when I figure out how to resize the pic.

nice. with different light and tank conditions some coral do change. glad yours is doing good.

i bought a coral from a lfs that was browned do to not having enough light. i think the tank was about a meter away from a blown out bulb. i asked them what color was it suppose to be and they said brown....... needless to say its slowly changing colors.
