one of the heads of my frog spawn is dying i think but not sure. have had it about a year or so noticed 3 days ago small portion was deflated which it does sometimes but has been like that since and now looks like its tissue is melting off its skeleton. parameters are steady tanks been running almost 2years. no major changes to equipment . my t5s were changed 4 months ago or so .

Sorry but none of your photos is showing up. It may be best to cut off the infected head before it spreads to the others.

what he said. use a airline tubing to siphon off as much of the gunk as possible and then remove the coral from the tank. Cut off the diseased head. It sounds like brown jelly to me - it can spread very quickly to not only other heads of the same coral, but to other LPS as well.

it sucks i had to cut that head off but i did. hopefully that will do the trick. can this disease come back or how do u get rid of it for good. whats it from???

If it was, indeed, brown jelly disease, there are several possible causes. Unfortunately, all are poorly understood. Possibilities include a bacterial infection brought on by stress.

I read up on it as much as I could a couple months ago. I lost 4 of 5 heads on a frogspawn, mainly because I didn't act soon enough. Luckily, it does not seem to have spread.
