put a bristle worm back in tank?

pulled out a piece of rock and it has a huge bristle worm attached to it.....should it go back in the tank?

Could you post a picture? How big is "huge" -- is it over 2 ft?

ok....guess not huge.......he'd probably stretch out to about 10 inches

Is there a certain size that any bristleworm should be removed? I've got one that's at least a foot long now.

I have several 10 inchers---Sam, Barney, and Fred. I used to be creeped out by them, but knowing how much good they do the corals, I've gotten rather amused: when the sinking pellets hit the sand, here comes Sam, who won't come all the way down, but who'll try to beat the hermits. I've seen Barney engage in tug-of-war with a big hermit, and win.
