PVC plumbing and maxi jet mod...

What do you guys use for an adhesive when doing your PVC plumbing? Can I get it a Home Depot? Are there any tricks to doing it right?

Does anyone have a link to the maxi jet mod where they cut off the nozzle to create a more random flow? I have searched everywhere and all I can find is the "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Maxi-Stream mod" thread. I remember it was a really simple mod.

clear pvc cement. clean the pipe where it will be glued using pvc cleaner or primer. the cement, cleaner, and primer are sold at lowes or homedepot. for the maxi jet mod, use a hacksaw to cut the nozzel off between where the impeller is and where it reduces to the round part. this mod is only good with wavemakers. the starting and stopping cause the impeller to change directions sending the water in different directions.
