Pygmy Cherub Angel?

I don't see the dark spots on the face? Did they go away already? And is the angel brighter at home than at the lfs? I had one of these for a year before we downsized the tank, I loved it, sooo pretty. That edge that glows electric blue is amazing. Now that we are increasing tank size, we got a multicolor pygmy angel, and its gorgeous too. My favorite little fishies!

You picked up a beautiful little cherub. I wish one of mine had that much blue! I love how variable these guys are.

Thanks hes awsome! Hes still very small so mabe hell get alittle more yellow as he grows but your cherub is beautiful as well. I just cant wait to get my Multibar angel. For some reason its been very difficult to get around here not sure if its "out of season" or not. Ive been to about 10 LFS an none can get one. But i have a private wholesaler that says hes getting me one so well see.

My LSF finally got my order in of my multibar angel!! im so excited. As of now im having them quarantine it in hypo salinity and they are going to get it to feed for me. My Lfs is a great store and very helpful. They did the same for my cherub angel and hes eating like a pig!!ill be sure to post pics of the multibar when i get him in a few more day!!

Does (s)he hide a lot? I was thinking about getting either a cherub or a flameback since they're the best for a 20g. I'm probably going to get flamed for trying to keep one in a 20 haha

Mine is almost always out in the open.

cherubs are sweeet looking fish! im really debating selling my coral beauty and picking up a cherub. But it would be way too hard to catch the cb!!

He hides once in a while but for the most part hes out swimming in and out between the rocks. Its nice to watch actually.Im not going to flame you because ATM hes in a 20high and hes doing great and loving it. To be honest im thinking about keeping it in there because its doing so well but im not sure yet.

Depending on the size of your tank you may be able to keep the 2 together. I plan on putting a cherub angel and a multibar angel in the same tank so it may work for you but the cherub and multibar have sort of a different body type..I definitely understand about catching it though cause u would prob have to take the entire tank down to get him.It may not even work for me so well see :) . I have seen people with more than 3 dwarf angels in the same tank and they live together with no stress or fighting.

was in the area of my LFS so i decided to pick my Multibar angel up. Its about the same size as the cherub angel about the size of a 50cent piece or so. Here are a few pics. I have him in a breeder container in the tank for now until i can remove the 2 clowns tonight because there not being really nice to the cherub and i dont want to take any chances. He seems really healthy.I put a rock with nori rubberbanded to it in the container with him so he can pick on it for now. When the lights go out tonight ill catch the clowns sleeping and grab them and put them in the holding container and switch the multibar out. Then in the morning ill bring the clowns to the LFS and put the cherub in the holding container for a few days so he can relax and heal up and that will let the multibar get comfortable . Here are a few pics :) . Anyone want some free ocellaris clowns :-p ??

heres the sob clown(the other clown gets along with the cherub so this must be the female i dont want to get rid of them because ive had them for almost 3 years but priorities :) ):

Heres the cherubs bitten tail should heal up great as hes really healthy and water is pristine:

My C. argi was very active, despite his/her size. 20 gallons is actually a bit smallIME. Oh its certainly not harmful to the angel. But tank mates might be subject to aggression.

Sincerely,
Matthew

Yes, despite their name and appearances, Clownfish are Damsels. Be careful in tight quarters.
