well.. My anemone just took the big freshwater slide to the sky.
I hope to order his replacement next week, however I may wait a while.
Your frogspawn looks to be a little close to your montipora. It could sting it. You might want to seperate them a bit.
Yeah refracto is where its at.. for a coule weeks my salinity was like 1.29 or higher cause of my deep six. Or cause of my assumptions that it was moreso on. Just marked the difference on deep six to make accurate with refracto till i get one. Also your picks are totally worthy... good luck, reef it up. :reading:

Hi Pylon. I just read through your whole thread. A great read - fun and very informative. You take great pictures of your tank and you have a great looking tank. It was sad to read about your problems with the anemone. I do hope your next try with an anemone works out better.
Thanks Guysgreat looking tank, despite the minor issues, i do hope my tank can look as nice as yours!![]()

Dude, the white tips are tissue recession - not good. You need to check your calcium and alk, phosphate and nitrate ASAP. Something isn't right.
Rule of thumb -
Calcium - should fall between 400-450
Alk (carbonate hardness) - should fall btw 8-12dKH
Phosphate/Nitrate - should be as close to 0 as possible.
If you don't have test kits, or meters to check these parameters then you need to get, and become proficient at using them. When you step up to SPS, you're playing with the big boys - you need big boy tools now.
