got my nem today, he's pretty and a bright green so far.. I am drip acclimating him and bag floating the two Zoos. One of them look like it melted on the drip over.. we'll see soon.. taking plenty of pictures!
Starting to inflate.. I dripped him for a little over two hours.
I orginally placed him under the keystone because that is where the clowns hang out and that is where the most shade is.
He slowly crept over to the the underside of the bridge. and that is where he's at now, although he's still on the move.. hanging upside down.
I tried feeding him.. although it was a bit to early, he hadn't settled in yet.
So my nem has found a spot and in the last couple hours my clowns have had some curious behaviors towards it.
theys been nipping at the ends of the tentacles.. is this normal/good behavior?
Update: Now the female is "sucking" on the tentacles and sometimes it kinda looks like the is nestling in with them.
this looks like good behavior to me
Pictures from last night..
The BTA settled into that spot and after it had been there for a while.. my female came to inspect what was new in HER tank.
and the YWG.. couldn't take out the camera with out him getting infront of it.
Looks good Pylon, how exciting that your clown is showing an interest so quickly. I am hoping to get an anemone for my clowns when I get my 75g set up. I hope they adopt it as quickly as yours!!!
Stinks that some of that last pictures aren't there anymore.. my OCD made me want to keep them organized with all the other fish tank pictures and now I can't edit that post... anyway.. here are some new ones.
So, I've been considering the 4th fish.. I've been thinking about another Goby.. possibly a court jester Goby or a Catalina goby,.. i'm kinda worried about the clowns ganging up on the new fish though.. any thoughts.. suggestions?
I really like the tailspot blenny, have you seen one of those, they look like they are always smiling. I think that would be a great addition to your tank.
I think I sucessfully fed my nem,, I put a smell peace next to it's mouth, the clows were pretty ruthless at trying to get it and pulling it out.. I fed them and when I put their food away the silverside was gone.. looked like the nem got it.. didn't see it anhywhere in the tank
