Dear Jeremy,

Iam intrested in buying the PFO mini pendant and came across your site.

I was wondering What 10k bulb are we talking about on the mini pendent Complete :

MINI PENDENT Complete

Secondly, does the set up comes with the hanging kit? Is the ballast HQI or electronic?

Hi,

That setup actually comes with a 10k Ushio lamp. Having said that, we can sub out for any lamp you are interested in. A 10k Ushio is one of the more expensive bulbs, so price would go down from there on the package if you subbed out.

The ballast that comes with are the M81 (magnetic HQI) ballasts. I only recommend using magnetic ballasts when driving DE lamps. While electronic have their place in the hobby, they seem to significantly underdrive DE lamps, while SE lamps don't have as much issues with that. To get the full potential out of a DE setup use the magnetic ballast.

The hanging kits for the PFO are separate, and run $29.95.

Actually, I wanted the Ushio in the first place...am looking for a pure white bulb with no yellowish and I heard that this bulb is what Iam looking for.

Another Q if you dont mind...How ling does usually take to recieve the items via UPS ground?

My freidn is staying in a hotel in orlando for 3 weeks....so am going to ship to him and he will get it to me once he get back home.

Ohh.Sorry, I was talking about the XM 10K in my second post and I was tayping ushio instead..my bad. To clear things up.. I would like to change the bulb to xm 10k

It takes about 3-4 days for the order to reach Orlando from us in Indianapolis. The pendent should ship the same day as long as we have everything in stock, if you order before 2pm that day. If your friend is going to be there for 3 weeks that should be no problem. Are you able to use the 110 volt ballast on your electrical system?
