Hello,

I have few questions regarding the Tunze 6105 on your website.
http://premiumaquatics.com/products/turbelle-stream-6105.html

On your website, the Energy consumption: max. 28 W. But all other websites states that the Max power consumption is 35W. Also your website doesn't mention anything about the titanium-alloy axle and the blue propeller.

So is the Tunze 6105 being sold on your website the latest model? and It is the same as other Tunze 6105 being sold on other websites?

Thanks

Let me pass this along to someone at the shop who can physically verify the specs on the models we have in-stock. You should get a PM back.

The Tunze pumps that Premium is selling are all the latest versions of the pumps with the titanium shafts, blue props and the Silence Mounts. Tunze has used titanium shafts with the blue prop for a number of years now so you have no need to worry about that when buying new from Premium. They move a lot of these pumps so their stock is always being replenished with the latest version from Tunze. The only time you need to worry about that is with some of the used ones that are first generation versions of the 6105. That is why that subject comes up all the time. When you buy them new, especially from Premium, you get the piece of mind knowing that you are getting the latest version backed by some of the best support in the industry. Roger from Tunze USA is a pleasure to deal with should you ever have an issue or have questions.

As for the wattage, Max Wattage according to the Tunze website is 35 watts. This is assuming you are running at full power 24x7. The advantage of these pumps is the ability to dial them up or down via the trim pot and also the ability to control them with a Tunze controller or a controller such as an Apex.

I run a 6105 and a pair of 6205's in my tank. All three are controlled by my Apex. I think even at full power, the wattage draw is less than 35w but given that my profiles never have the pumps running at full power for any length of time, I would never expect to see full power consumption under my normal usage. I've got about 4 years going on my Tunze's and they have performed great despite my continual on/off pulse profiles that pulse them every 4-7 tenths of a second for up to 12 hours a day until they go into my night profile. They are great pumps that are built to last and extremely quiet. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks for the assist, slief! You're 100% correct.

Also - Just wanted to pass along that the info on our site hadn't been updated with recent product specs from Tunze... We're getting that corrected ASAP. Thanks for pointing out that we'd missed it!
