Questions on new LTA

I just acquired a small LTA, it is a bit bleached but it is fully inflated, sticky, and it's mouth is almost completely closed. My question concerns it attaching. It has been in the aquarium for a few hours, but it still has not fully attached its foot. I buried its foot in the sand by the base of the LR and turned the flow down extremely low, is there anything else I should do?

A few hours isn't that long, and I'm not sure I'd turn down flow as it will just move probably when you turn it back up.
Best is scoop a lil sand and tuck between a couple rocks, maybe even slightly pinch it in there w/ a small rock, careful not to tear or hurt foot.
Tank specs/params/light?

davocean,

Thanks for your quick reply. It seems to be staying put now, even with the power heads turned on. I added a piece of rubble next to it to provide some more support, but as of now I am trying to just let it settle in and not mess with it. I have T5HO lighting with about 5wpg, and I have a pretty shallow tank (about 18" between lights and sand.) Hopefully it will settle in alright and enjoy the tank.

It sounds like you're doing all that can be done. I don't know how much flow you have in the tank, but I've never had a LTA that liked alot of flow. Especially on their foot.
