Rabbitfish poisoning others?

Heres a question I dont see brought up often, do rabbitfish use their spines in aggression? After collecting a deceased A. percula added only hours beforehand, I noticed what looks like a small hole poked in its side and a reddish area around it. Will Fiji Rabbits willingly poison other fish they do not like or is this someother accident leading to death?

The Genus Siganus is using their spines only as a defense weapon and even then only turn the fins towards the agressor and do not activly sting other fish.

Unless your Siganus is a tiny baby and your percula an 18 year old adult I dont see anything like this happening ;)

A rabbit generally fins-up only when cornered. It's not impossible, but would be unlikely, for one thing because hitting the clown in the side from vertically deployed fins would require some maneuvering, and the clowns, while capable of extreme banks, are usually faster than to get caught like that. The most usual victim of a rabbit is the owner who sets out to move a rock.
